2022 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your TRUCK order here! ** NEW USERS READ POST #1 **

I use to work on Fords at a dealer and I own a Ram. What does that tell you?
Ford guy all my life... had a 97 f250 7.3 then went to a brand new Ford 6.0 diesel got rid of it due to it being a POS and got a brand new Ford 6.4 diesel that was a POS. I would probably never buy another Ford.

Honestly i dont see an issue with the current cab, and i dont see a point of Ram investing to update the cab to be the same as the 5th gen 1500's. ive owned 2 1500's and its really not that special. Its just a couple more inches of space and a flat floor. They would save money by not needing re-tool machines and all of the other stuff they would need to do to update the cab and just stick with this one for another couple years. When they come out with the 6th gens is when it would be smart to update. A new transmission to replace the 68rfe on the other hand would be good to get rolling anyone of these years except next because that would make me mad i bought one this year. lol
It's going to be a fun couple of years.

I have had 4 Rams with sunroofs and have never had a problem.
Had such a issue with my current 20 limited with leaks. The incompetent ram service department kept blaming pine needles and my pressure washer. I found the leak myself and had the sunroof replaced . Took 4 appointments to get it repaired and I’m sure my headliner has water damage that ram denied .

Go to the NADA site. It has the 2022 trucks and the options match the dealer build sheets.
They are far from matching the dealer build sheet. Here is mine and it's considerably different. Note the Laramie Level D Equipment Group. There wasn't a Level A or B to chose from. I got everything possible but the sunroof and this is all there was to select from. In fact I don't have a clue as to what's in the Level D package because the information wasn't available on the ordering site. I looked at every selection that was available on the site and it doesn't even come close to the NADA site. The NADA site more resembles the Ram internet site that the public has access to for specing out a 2021 truck.

Maybe I’ll keep my loaded Laramie MC for a year and sell it back for a ‘23 when they do the updated cabs on the 2500s
Literally was just thinking/dreaming (hoping?) the same thing, except the 8 speed ZF would be more of the thing I’d want, but the reasoning still stands - hah

It’s was up to date as of a week and half ago (9/2) when I ordered my 2500 Laramie MC. Matched dealer’s POC exactly except for MSRP and off-road pkg price. It takes NADA and others some time to catch up with Ram’s frequent, recent updates.
Guess they moved from A and B levels to C and D.

I find I kind of funny that everyone here that ordered a 2022 truck was told by the dealer, " we really have no idea when it will be built and delivered". But then you have few thar are complaining that they are going to cancel their order because it hasn't been built, shipped, etc. JUST RELAXE and don't be in a hurry to spend your money. If you ordered needing a truck now, then the joke is on you, you should have known better. Trucks have been being built for 1 month. They have built thousands already. BUT......ours will get here when they get here. Stelainis is a business they will do what is best for them, and build what they have parts for.
Just relax and be happy that you can afford a truck that costs more than your parents house did

I love the ZF, but then all the "I need a column shifter, I hate that knob" people would be crying and threatening to not buy one because it'll come with the knob (which is awesome, except for plowing... I'll give them that much)

Does the 3500 Ram Mega Cab have overload springs or not. Looking at lift kits and that on the question they ask.

Just a suggestion for future posts, posts like this pop up every 4-5 days and no one is listening to them. It’s a waste of time. This is a place to vent for lots of people. I, myself, think it’s funny to see people write posts that think it’s going to all of a sudden shape the thread into one that they think it should be. Let the people vent. It’s what people like to do. If you don’t like or agree with it, simple, don’t read the thread.
