2022 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your TRUCK order here! ** NEW USERS READ POST #1 **

Thanks. They are offering the listed FFP plus $699 dealer handling and sales tax.
There are a few dealers mentioned in these threads that are doing invoice minus holdbacks. This will likely be quite a bit less than FFP. Depending on your location, check out [email protected] in moses lake, or Mark Dodge in LA, or Andrea chapman in...

That’s good for a local dealer, other than the high fees. I’d probably push back on that.

If you want to save more and don’t mind buying out of state, you can get below EP with Mark Dodge.

@AndreaChapmanScottsdale can get you pretty close to that too.

I believe Bud Clary in Moses Lake, WA is also very competitive.

Depends where you live, dealers are in Louisiana, Arizona and Washington

Just for the sake of argument, the volume dealers aren't the only ones doing Invoice-HB on factory orders. That's what I got on my 2020 from my local dealer working directly with the sales manager.

The real numbers were Invoice-HB-$599 was my price, then they added $599 DH back in on the paper to satisfy back office beancounters. Worked the deal over the phone, ordered, picked up in person. Easiest deal ever including the few fleet and broker buys I've done in the past.

That said, these conversations are best suited in the Price negotiated from MSRP thread.

Thanks. I'm waiting on quotes from Mark Dodge and Andrea. I did not know about Bud Clary, but I'll contact them as well.

Thanks. I guess that dealer is a semi local dealer as it is about 2~3 hours away.

Thanks for the additional info and you are correct, I should have asked these question in the other thread.

Was thinking about it at dinner, if its going to take until December/January for delivery. How many would opt to pass on delivery of a 22' and look at a 23'? Would suck to pre-order a 22' and have it a model year old about the same time you take delivery. I know its exaggerated but 6 months for a 23'? Food for thought if they cannot source the parts for this year. If I were a dealer with these delays in the pipe I would be nervous about staying in business.

The 2023 will probably be in the same boat. And they won’t start delivering until Oct of next year.

And I assume that a lot of salesman at the dealerships have pursued new lines of business since the shortage started.

I just emailed Sandi to ask. If I’m not getting the truck the way I ordered it then I don’t want it. Way to much money to drop on a truck that’s not exactly what I want. I can go find me a 3rd gen with the manual and rock that for a few years. Should have kept my old 3rd gen.
If that’s the case I’m going to be super pissed off with the fact that they have built trucks with those features for orders placed way after some of us sitting in D status.
There is a video a few pages back of a 22 Big Horn that has a night package on it

I can wait until December; after that I'm going to look at what's available because I need it for my business

Same here, but sucks if I got from under msrp to paying over for one on a lot. I found a 21 big horn in Arizona that was 3k more then the laramie I built with most options selected, other than the level 2.

After having a 2020 6.7 Powerstroke, 2020 Duramax, 2021 F250 7.3 gas; I'm really counting on Ram. GM & Ford's QC and overall build quality is slipping bad. Ford doesn't even paint under the hood or engine bay any longer.

(Yes I switch trucks & go fast cars frequently)

Anyone using the goosebox setup? Been looking at that for my future plans.
I’ve got it for my ‘17 CCSB and love it. I’ll be running the same setup on my 22 mega cab as well. I use the B&W turnover hitch with the 4” offset ball

Our fleet was always ford and we buy usually 4 or 5 vehcles a year. I had blown turbos and head gaskets in the eco boost before warranties expired and 3 power strokes that spend more time in the shop then on the road. We have a few rams and only issues we have were related to the lift on our 2019 2500 and that was fixed quick. Ram has been the one we can really count on.

Anyone using a Goosebox with a short bed needs to run an offset ball. This isn't possible with the factory GN round hole mount - you need to swap in the B&W square hole GN mount and use the B&W 4" offset ball.

I like JB's channel but he is ill-informed, perhaps simply underinformed, on many topics.
The b&w turnover gooseneck hitch and the offset hitch are a must. The movement from the airbag in the goosebox is the energy consumption that transtlates Into “chucking” with most other hitches. I run the mountain passes in the PNW and they are some of the worst roads west of the continental divide and the air bag does a great job absorbing that energy. I had an Anderson ultimate with my 17 CCSB along with this goosebox and the goosebox has been a superior experience. The guy on YouTube I think is a little green to the fifth wheel game. You inherently have to pay more attention to your angles in a short bed regardless but I’d be curious to see how he was at those angles and compressing the bag enough to strike the cab. I think I’m reality he probably just jackknifed while backing to do that

Is there anyone in here that could possibly look up my truck and maybe give me a estimated build date or what the current status is? My dealer is useless and everyone knows Ramchat is clueless lol 3C6UR5TL2NG138160 thank you in advance

Ordered a 2022 3500 Crew Cab Long Box DRW Longhorn on july 29. Truck received D status and VIN assigned approx mid August. Currently still in D status. Hoping to have the truck before winter gets here.

Unlevel surface backing catches many unaware.
