2022 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your TRUCK order here! ** NEW USERS READ POST #1 **

Ordered 2 weeks before that same truck with the HO. Just hearing crickets over here.

hopeful since we are starting to see more movement they start cranking them out. My new fifth wheel should arrive first week of October. No way to tow it now.
Same here, I sold my 15 3500 to my dealer back in June shortly after ordering not wanting to waste payments on something I was eventually getting rid of anyways. We canceled any camping trips this summer with no tow vehicle. Oh well, will be well worth it in the waiting time.

If your dealer is scummy then they will keep the deposit. If they aren't scummy they will understand that you changed your mind and still want a new truck and you will still order it with them if they can help you out and transfer the deposit to the new vehicle and get you the same percent off as your other order.

if they are smart they will also understand that your future business is more valuable then a stupid deposit.

If you have your sales agreement, there is most likely terms and conditions on the backside that might be worth glancing through, but most likely those terms are super generous to the dealership and not

Well it is official. Restarted my wait lol. Changed from longhorn to limited today. Really like the night edition. Figure since I have been in D status for a couple months now with no movement I might as well change it. Gonna be funny when this order moves a lot faster than my last order.

The same dealer you buy the new vehicle from has nothing to do with it. Some states vary with the trade in allowance on sales tax. For example, I’m in Illinois, and no matter how much my trade in is worth, I can only get a sales tax credit for $10,000 max. If I purchase a $50,000 vehicle from mark dodge in Louisiana, and trade my truck in to them, they will reciprocate to Illinois my sales tax on a $40,000 vehicle sale price.
Better revisit the Illinois law. The $10000 max trade in allowance against sales tax does not apply to trucks.

Those that ordered through Mark Dodge; does your salesman give you regular updates or do you have to contact them?

No power fold tow mirrors, no tech package... Unless I read it too fast.
I think its has power fold mirrors Page 6....10 up from the bottom. It has every other power item, Power adjustable, light, heat etc.... with the mirror....I can't believe it isn't.

EDIT: the website does say manual folding......https://www.kunesmorrisonchrysler.com/new-Morrison-2022-RAM-2500-Big+Horn-3C6UR5DL3NG143608

There seems to be confusion on the power folding on the BH. Tried to clear it up this weekend with no luck. Power folding was with level 1 and B. It appears now it might only be on Level C not A. That one is Level C so who knows.

This is true, and I’ll change my example to a passenger vehicle as the trade in. But, the basic point I was getting across to the member that I replied to is that not all states have the same trade in tax credit structure.

If you trade your vehicle into the same dealer that you bought your new one from you pay the sales tax on only the difference. If you sell your vehicle outright and buy a new vehicle you pay sales tax on the full amount.
Oklahoma does not offer this. You always have to pay 100% of the sales tax no matter the trade-in value. Even if purchased out of state.

Well I sold/traded my 21 2500 last month, seeing that I’m probably going to be waiting 3 months before I “may” see my 22 3500, I broke down and bought a “beater” F350 DRW to get me by…

Pretty sure that is incorrect. Seems like I have dealt with this in the past. I don't have to worry about it now as I am 100% disabled vet and can get a vehicle every 3 years without paying the taxes but I am pretty sure you only pay the difference. I assume you would have to do the deal with the same dealer though. Would be worth checking into with the tag office. I am in Moore, OK BTW so if you see a delmonico red limited mega cab with disabled vet tags driving around here in Hopefully less than 6 months feel free to honk and waive!

Pretty sure I just read some incorrect info (I hope) and someone on the Facebook said they spoke to ram chat and were told that 22 Laramie HD’s do not come with led reflector head light and they come with the standard halogens. Can someone confirm or deny this?

Laramies come with LED reflector headlamps. They are listed in the build sheets for the few Laramies that have been built.

Here's one as an example - https://www.jeep.com/webselfservice/BuildSheetServlet?vin=3C6UR5NL1NG112114

I’ve been having to borrow my son-in laws ram 2500 for hauling anything right now and it sucks total a$$.

Did they try to rob you on the deposit?

I did the same today. Laramie to Limited. Didn’t lose anything or any time. I just ordered last Tuesday.
