Checked in with Sandi for the first time in 6 weeks.

Still in D with no estimated ship date.

Called my salesman who said that my Longhorn is still at D.

So, I had a little fun. It turns out it wasn't too hard to grab a bunch of VINs for 2022 2500 and 3500 trucks listed on one of the big car sites. 1,297 of them. I then proceeded to check all of them for equipment listings and window stickers.

Here are the results:
1630618142120.png
  • Of the 1,297 listed on the site with a VIN, 1,162 of them had window stickers. A few more had equipment listings but not a window sticker yet.
  • While there were few Laramie, Longhorn, and Limited trucks listed on the site, NONE of them had a window sticker available yet.
  • Multiple variants, 2WD/4WD, Crew Cab/Mega Cab, SRW/DRW have been built.
I think they have built quite a few trucks. But I think they absolutely are waiting to build the higher trim trucks. Likely due to chip shortages.

Who knows how long we'll have to wait for tech-loaded trucks to start production?

That's depressing....

I saw that earlier. Was flipping through the non-tradesman builds. Seems to be the same, just different colors. Still cool to see more trucks being built out. Hopefully they’ll open a little more to the ordered trucks.

Agreed, pinged my dealer today on my 5500 Limited ordered on 6/30. Still in “D” unfortunately and got this response:

“As you've probably heard, the auto makers
of all brands are having problems obtaining
Computer chips necessary for vehicle to
operate. Things seem, in some cases, to
be getting somewhat better, and I'll keep
in touch with any status changes.”

Awesome work, Lame result.

I ran the script again this morning. Still just 16 of our trucks with equipment listings and 12 with window stickers. No new ones have popped up in the last 3 or so days.
Any idea on the window sticker what the # under SL near the barcode means? Mine has changed a few times it was 0826-0 now its 0830-3 .

Maybe its the build start or end date and shift number? I think @mxsnow knows. (But it looks like he's not on the forum anymore?!)

Pretty sure from when my equipment sheet was generated and the info from my dealer that it was built on the 10th then in storage until the 26th when it went into KZ status.

Any idea why? Hope he didn't get in trouble for something he posted. Glad to have his insight here and seems like he was being conscious of what he said as to not cross the company policy line.
It’s nothing he did. He just really likes his Honda BR-V so he wanted to change his name.

I don't know how much we can rely on them because they are from 2022 development trucks, but I found equipment listings for most of the trims. I.e. Limited, Longhorn, Laramies, etc.

These are from trucks with sequence numbers less than 200. And the equipment listing clearly states they are "Vehicle Development Pilot Order".

So I expect there are some differences in the equipment listings from what production ordered trucks will come with. But just in case it sparks peoples interest, you can find the list in the "Development Trucks" tab of the order tracking sheet.
