2022 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your TRUCK order here! ** NEW USERS READ POST #1 **

So finally got some info. Ordered 6/19 and yesterday got the vin and the dealer said it’s in transit and should be here (CT) in 2-3 weeks.
What model did you get?

Gosh I hope not. If so I have a long road ahead. 150214 is the end of my VIN.
They are making ones with high numbers, you would think they would go in order but I would imagine it depends on options, parts available, color, and what's in production

Sounds to me they are batch building like they did in the 70's and 80's lower trim or lesser appointed first

I found one I like, but I’m too “frugal” to pay MSRP on a lot truck…specially when I’ve got about $10,000 off waiting to get built :/, I keep thinking
I did for a moment, haggled with a salesman on a 21, then decided to be patient. Paying MSRP with decent trade-in I’d still end up paying $8k more for less truck. Not worth being impatient.
That’s the only reason I havnt told them to fu|< off yet

Am I reading this right for the limited? They said they put a electronic shifter knob in it, instead of the shift lever? It that’s true, it’s kinda disappointing. I’m not a fan of the shift knob at all

I did a double take on it as well. I prefer it if they did but can understand different perspectives on it. I have had both and never had an issue with either.

It's still only a knob with the gas engine. Diesels have the shifter. All gas have the knob but in every other trim level it's a brushed silver color. This change is just pointing out it'll be a black onyx color shift knob on the black limited interior

so it looks like bling spot monitoring is back in and no longer a stand alone option? Mentions it in Laramie level 1/2 and as part of safety group. 1630499210797.png

That's what I'm wondering too. I ordered a Laramie with both the Laramie Level 1 as well as the Safety Group which this claims to include BSM. I tried to include it as a stand alone as well but was told it kicked it back. Hopefully that just meant that it was already included.
