2022 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your TRUCK order here! ** NEW USERS READ POST #1 **

I get so jealous of you guys with official dates that ordered way after me. This waiting thing sucks. (3500 srw 6.4 Laramie) 117136, ordered 28 June
I technically ordered mine June 26th but dealer held it till the 29th to make sure I didn’t add anything . Wouldn’t doubt it getting kicked back to d status

No info from Sandi on my Laramie 6.4 hemi with a sunroof, I was one of the D1s that got pushed back to D.. but an FCA insider looked up my vin and sent me this. Looks like my build is tentatively scheduled for October 25th. We’ll see.View attachment 21191
I had the same guy look mine up too and mine is scheduled to build on 10/11. Wonder what the "schedule month" and the line below it means???

What equipment did you order? Might give some insight as to what is holding up other builds.

There are 4 on the tracking sheet. Although I suspect some of them have gone back to D status.
That's what I am trying to figure out. Is there something with Mega Cabs that is slowing the process? I understand everyone is anxious and excited, but it is all just a process and that is what I am trying to discern. I don't intend to change or cancel. Just trying to manage the miles on my trade. My wife says I can just look at a vehicle and the miles begin to roll. I average 35 to 45k now that I am retired. Before that 65 to 75k a year. I am 2k away from my mileage cap so I am being pretty stingy with my miles right now. Got 2 or 3 trips planned before the end of the year and considering a long term rental.

I think it's probably related to the trims people order mega cabs in.

It seems that lower spec trucks, mostly Tradesman, are making it further along in the process now. You can't get the Mega cab in a Tradesman. And most Mega Cab trucks are Limited, Longhorn, or Laramies.

I suspect that once we see more Laramie and higher trucks getting built, we won't see a difference between crew and mega cabs in terms of priority.

Spoke with my dealer buddy today, and still no movement on my early order. 05/07 order 3500 Laramie Crew Cab with all the fixins…. Oh well ‍♂️ The wait continues!

Thanks! Mine is a Longhorn Mega Cab so I probably didn't do myself any favors with regard to timing.
