Did you see the sticker says the aux outlet includes an exterior 115v outlet? Is that new for 22? Did everyone else already know about that and I missed it?

Yeah. It was previously mentioned. Cool that it has been added.

Well pulled the plug today. Was in the market for a new 2500 Bighorn mega but ended up with a 2500 Laramie. Got 9% off msrp. Hope I didn’t overpay. They also gave me 50k for my 2018 Ram 2500 BH mega(special order loaded).
Who was your sales person? If they are giving those kinds of discounts, Springfield, TN is a lot closer to Memphis than Lake City, LA.

I ordered from Robert at landers. I agreed to MSRP - 1000$. I get that guys are getting 9% under. But On my 2016 duramax trade they gave me basically what I paid for it new in 2016.
the price paid is high but the trade is crazy. On total I am Pleased.
Robert is the man! I have purchased many cars from him and Ray Horn. Just when I think they cannot match a deal I have from somewhere else, BAM! They beat it! Great team

That’s what makes these forums great. Good luck getting that much off just walking in to your local dealer. Come armed with what others are paying across the country and you’ll do a lot better.

The update I got from RAM support via phone call and from my dealer are completely different. RAM support said it was in D1 status on 8/28 but dealer said it has been framed and painted a 4-6 weeks back. Dealer has since told me that it is in KZ status around 8/16 but even on the POC sheet he provided it still says Status D. Build sheet and window sticker still unavailable. Who would be a more reliable source of truth?

Gupton Ram. Salesman was Kemmy. He’s a good guy. We built and rebuilt bighorn and Laramie’s. Very patient. Doc fee 399. Tell him Luke sent you.

Bit off topic but watching that TRX build video was cool. My sister-in law and brother-in law worked in Brampton building cars for 30 years. He pressed trunks and she dropped in the right rear speaker and plugged in the dome light (You have 40 seconds to complete the tasks in your zone) for 5 years then moved on to driving the cars from the line to the lot before retiring. I went on a 6 hour tour one time. I watched an Intrepid get completely built from nothing to seeing the car drive. I even got to pick up an engine and join it up with a transmission on the line.

Anyways, back on topic going to be ordering a 2022 3500 this week. This thread has been very helpful.

Does anyone else’s dealer suck at giving you a answer or responding to you? My sales man reads my texts but doesn’t respond and sends my calls right to voicemail. Same as the sales manager. Starting to get fed up with dealers lol, especially when you order a $86,000 truck from them.
I usually have to text multiple times.

Hi all,
I just read the majority of these posts. I have a good understanding that we are all excited with very little information to work off of. I placed my order at a local dealer on August 11th. My plan was, or "my wife's plan" was to save for two or three months so we can have a very substantial down on an extremely expensive truck. Our dealer who we have done business with before purchased my truck and another car from us while the market was high. They gave us what I think is a very generous price for both. Both were above trade in value and in the middle of private party in kelly blue book. That being said I felt we should order from them. I have my build sheet I will include here with just msrp listed. I have not received a VIN yet. It seems I should email and ask about that. I am not in a hurry but am as excited as all of you and would like to be able to monitor progress. I know that is probably a very futile effort with Ram. One question I have is for those with a FWP listed on your build sheet. Mine only shows msrp. I have been told they may offer a small discount below msrp but due to the demand on this vehicle most dealers are selling above msrp. What has been your experience with price based on your ordered truck? Thank you in advance for any input and for having me as part of this forum.
What a small world. I’m also in Susanville and ordered a 2500 limited mega cab 4x4 night edition through them. Ordered mine on 06/22 haven’t received an update in weeks. Mine also only shows msrp and not dealer price, (like they used to). They did say that there may be incentives upon delivery, however outside of a first responder discount, I’m not seeing much in terms of savings tbh.

I sold my 2021 F-250 in June via Give Me the Vin. I paid $67k for it. MSRP was $73k. I sold it for $76k. Granted that was the height of the used car and in particular truck market. You can have your cake and eat it to. Key is to separate the trade/purchase so they can't play with the number if you can.

How recent was your last POC? The POC is spit out by the system computer has up to the minute data. If the info on the current POC is different from what the dealer is telling you then where are they getting their info from?

I also ordered a limited mega on 6/22 and still in D status sold my trx 4 months ago for stupid money so I have been truckless ever since.

At your last update what stage was it? Did the dealer contact you at the beginning to give you a vin? I am not in a hurry but am excited as this is my first ordered vehicle. Since the order was placed I have not heard a word from them. Granted it has only been since 8/11. What did the first responder consist of?

My last POC says it was printed on 8/26. Not sure where dealer is getting info from - wasn't sure if there was another system they could access.IMG_5964.jpg

If the day you last talked to them is the same as printed on the POC then they are blowing smoke you know where.

What is on the POC is current. Maybe, they gave you that line of BS just to get rid of you.

Build status can change quickly. It's not going to go from D to KZ over night. When you are in D1 status you will be in position for the build to start moving.

Stay on top of them, ask for a POC every week. . Every salesman has a smart phone, all they have to do is print the POC take a picture of it and send it to you what ever way you prefer (email, text etc.)

Customer service is part of their job too.
