B pillar trim - part numbers

Looking to find part numbers, and my local dealer isn't a ton of help. Better than some, but still not great.

I like the black trim look on the b pillars as it blend the front and rear windows together nicely, IMHO of course. My last truck I used some wrap vinyl to do this, but it didn't hold up as well as I would have liked.

I've seen it on many trucks, both online and in person. So I'm assuming it's a Mopar part and not something aftermarket.

Anyone happen to know a good source or even just the part numbers for these pieces?

Picture is a screen shot from Mopar parts .com

I thought the B-pillar on the Big Horn and up were just vinyl wrapped...

All Ram truck pillars are all painted, then all are vinyl wrapped.

Not all are wrapped.
And it's a more robust material than a simple 3-5mil calendered wrap vinyl. On many other manufacturers it's either a matte black heavy plastic, or what's called a piano black(gloss) if you're into the euro vehicle side of life.

A standard vinyl will become chewed up from road debris and what not on the leading edges in very short time. My previous 14 model I went through that.

Tradesman trim doesn't get the cool stuff

Correct, some lower end models are not wrapped, my error.
I've seen those plastic pillar caps on eBay. Have not seen any in person, would like to see how they fit and look. Lots of owners remove the wrap, on black or granite I like the look better than the wrap. Have thought about removing on my bright silver 1500. Or, the eBay plastic caps.

Didn't know there was an aftermarket option. Do you have an ebay link you could share?

I'll try almost anything once, and I feel this isn't a permanent modification that could be irreversible

I like the uncovered paint look better. Why cover it with vinyl material after painting? I don't see the need other than to keep smudge marks off the paint. Oh well.

I don't have a link. I was on eBay prowling around for door step protectors and ran across the pillar stuff. That was several months ago.

I think on some colors the break up looks good, but I also personally like the look of a "seamless window". Could also be my history with European vehicles

I've seen them before as well. Something like this.
That's the idea. The one you listed doesn't say whether it's polycarbonate (plastic) or vinyl.
I would search for one that states the material, or contact the seller and ask.

Yeah. And search for one that doesn't originate from China. Haha. I just did a quick search for it. I'm sure the OP will research it and find one that will ship from the US. It will still be made in China, but shipping will be much faster!

Definitely going to look into the aftermarket side, but still would like something factory. As a guy involved in the engineering field, I'd like to think the designers at Ram probably have something that will fit, and fit correctly the first time lol.

This one states is aluminum, and ships from US.

But.... It's a simple flat plate that didn't contour around the door edge. Not what I'm wanting.

Any one have a good resource to look up factor pay numbers?

You would think. I thought the same when trying to get OEM clearance lamps for my 2020. No such thing in existence at the time. This was 6 months ago. And they actually make clearance lamps, but there was no way to buy a set from MOPAR.

There is no factory part number. The black out on the doors are just a thick vinyl coating. The only Ram that has an actual panel over the the "b pillar" center is the 1500. Totally different cab.
Edit: Unless you mean for the thick vinyl?

This is for the 2018 and below. Same truck cab as the 2019 and up. But shows it's the right part for current models.
Awesome! I finally learned how to navigate that site and had just found it right as I got the alert that you posted! Thank you for the help. I'll be getting theses on order today. Fingers crossed that the 'rona hasn't disrupted these like it has so many other parts.

Cool. NP. Search different MOPAR parts sites as they all have different pricing and shipping. I know it's only 6 bucks, but shipping could differ.

I remember seeing a lot of members using one specific sure. I think that site owner may be a member here? Which one is that? Or am I mis-thinking?
