2022 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your TRUCK order here! ** NEW USERS READ POST #1 **

Do you have early access to the 22 manual? Or is is available somewhere for download?
It’s on techauthority, but you would need a subscription. Only thing I can’t find so far is the actual install instructions for the trailer surround view, but I can deduce from the service descriptions and schematics how it’s going to go.

I noticed on my Tradesman build sheet there is a Exterior 115V AC Outlet listed. I assume this is in the bed. Is this a new standard for 22s? I wasn't expecting it so it is a nice surprise!

Nice. Most likely on the bottom center console/bottom of center dash.

Edit...Ah...exterior.

Cargo Lights/Trailer Spotter Lights/Trailer Hitch Light With Bed Lights — If Equipped

Cargo Lights/Trailer Spotter Lights/Trailer Hitch Light With Bed Lights — If Equipped

The cargo light, bed lights, trailer spotter lights, and trailer hitch light are turned on by pushing the cargo light button located on the lower half of the headlight switch.

When the vehicle is stationary, these lights can also be turned on using the switch located just inside the pickup box, on the lower part of the bed light lens. A telltale will illuminate in the instrument cluster display when these lights are on. Pushing the switch a second time will turn the lights off.

Bed Light Switch (Without RamBox)

The cargo light and bed lights (if equipped) will turn on for approximately 30 seconds when a key fob unlock button is pushed, as part of the Illuminated Entry feature.

When these lights are activated using the button on the headlight switch, the cargo lights, trailer spotter lights, and trailer hitch light will remain illuminated when the vehicle transmission is in PARK, NEUTRAL, or REVERSE. The lights will turn off when the vehicle transmission is placed in DRIVE.

When the vehicle is placed in the REVERSE position, the trailer hitch light will turn on automatically. The trailer hitch light will turn off when the vehicle is placed in the DRIVE position.

Note:

For vehicles shipped to or sold in the states of California or Mississippi, the cargo, bed, and mirror spotter lights will not work while the vehicle is in motion. In every other state, the cargo and mirror spotter lights will turn off when the vehicle is in motion, but the bed light will remain on. In all states, including California and Mississippi, if a bed camera is deactivated, the bed lights will turn back on.

Parent topic: EXTERIOR LIGHTS

Live in Mississippi, but I guess since truck is delivered to Louisiana, I hope my truck will be able to utilize in reverse.

Also noticed this in mine. When I was trying to configure on the web site there was no mention of it. I got the front one as an option and planed to buy the receptacle for the back after. I guess I don’t have to now. I wish the options on the build site listed out everything like the build sheet does, there was no mention of quite a few basic items.

NADA shows wireless charging for the bucket seat upgrade at Laramie level. I didn't see this on the ramtrucks.com site on the 2021's. I asked my dealer to confirm this, but she never got back to me. Does anyone else know for sure if it is included?1629219805031.png

I just configured a 2021 Laramie 3500 on the RAM site, and the wireless charging does show when you select more info on the bucket seat package.

Is that Level A equipment or Level B equipment? I am guessing Level B? It doesn't show for me for Level A Equipment.

I will try to update mine at work tomorrow, not very computer savvy,I just build prototype trucks.
Man would I like to sit down and talk to you about what Ram needs to build and how they should build it.....in my mind Ram is always 10-15 years behind. I'm talking about stuff that would really sell and REAL truck owners....that truly use their truck would like to have....ok back on topic.

So The Laramie can get the Wireless charging but the Limited Longhorn doesn't without some $4000 package that includes the 12" radio?

With the prices you all are being given from the dealerships, have they said the price may fluctuate due to changes in costs of materials? The local dealer gave me that line.

That was not communicated to me by Sandi and Mark Dodge. I expect that the price I pay whenever my truck shows up will be the amount on the buyers order I signed with them.

EDIT: the following is included in said buyers order. But I think RAM knows they would have a lot of pissed off people if they increased the price at this point. They already increased the price from '21 to '22.
