2022 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your TRUCK order here! ** NEW USERS READ POST #1 **

I didn't specifically add that option to my 3500 Laramie, but wonder if it is embedded into one of the packages I did add...
From what I was told, it WAS part of the Level B package, but it was removed and is now a stand alone option. So you should be good.

Blind spot is the chip issue per product development NOT Ramchat
I can confirm that. I wanted that option on my build. My dealer told me if I want that option it may add 2-3 months build time to get my truck. Said that option is one of the chips they are having delays. I already sold my last truck and currently truckless, so I decided I could live without blind spot/cross traffic detection and scratched it off my list so I can get my truck sooner.
I ordered blind spot monitoring as a stand alone option. Does that mean I'm screwed and not getting my truck for 2-3 months, plus?
Would be very helpful to know so I can make some interim plans as I bought the trailer, just have nothing to tow it with . . .

is there a way for them to build the trucks without the needed chip for the blind spot and update us later like they are on the DPF system????

I am buying the parts and building a harness,Do a search for directions, only choice, the DPF is a emission issue.

Of the 9 trucks in the tracking sheet with an equipment listing showing up. 2 of them have "Blind Spot and Cross Path Detection" on the equipment listing.

So at least we know they have enough chips to build some trucks with that equipment.
Well i guess that is a good sign. We can only hope they start the rest of production soon

Same please. Here is my full VIN: 3C7WRNEL2NG117469. Order date of 6/30. Its a Crew Cab, 6.7 Cummins, zone 35-Washington

Thanks.

Not to single you out, but with a little bit of research and reading, all of this info can be inputted by yourself. Since post #2975 (and countless others, including a separate thread designated specifically for the tracking), there’s been 2 people wanting their info added, when the post clearly says how to add info. The one before this one, was 3 post AFTER the “how to” post. The guy that put together the spreadsheets has better stuff to do than comb BACK through all of the posts to find peoples info to enter. Do a little bit of leg work and all this info is available.

To be fair, @Bandit400's order was already in the sheet. Just with a partial VIN. As there isn't a clear way (instead there are various unclear ways) to update data for an existing record in the sheet, I don't mind watching comments.

Although I would prefer that we keep as much conversation to the 2022 HD Crowdsourced VIN/Order Tracking thread as much as possible and try to keep this one relevant to 2022 orders and order updates.

Sounds like they are what they call batch building with Tradesmans primarily 1st,should mean Bighorns next,maybe....

I couldn't have said it better myself. The thread was created to discuss builds and orders.

It's really tough for everyone to get a good read on the thread topic when there's so many OT posts. There's always going to be some of that (guilty myself) and I don't have the time or desire to police every post, but when there's already a whole other thread devoted to a topic, the posts need to go there. Just like the "what are you going to do after getting your truck" posts were moved to a new thread "2022 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post delivery upgrade thread."

I've updated the very first post in the thread previously to include a link to ODS' thread in the hope new members will at least read the first post before skipping to the end. If I could put a header at the top of every page I would but alas, I cannot.

Thanks.
How do zones work as far as orders and deliveries go? I am in Washington state and my order says zone 70-Phoenix.
