2022 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your TRUCK order here! ** NEW USERS READ POST #1 **

Where does the owner of the sheet get the updated information? Is it pulled from the comments or is it retrieved some other way. Just wondering
@yre1423 hit me up or check out the crowdsource order tracking thread.

With trucks going into production I do need to work on a solution to allow for anyone to update dates more easily on their own.

ordered a pretty loaded Laramie semi early hoping to get it built before they start dealing with any more shortages.
Loaded Limited Longhorn ordered late June 2021 here, expecting January/ February 2022 based on feedback that my salesman got from his factory contact. Maybe that's hogwash and it will appear with a sunroof and in all of its grandeur in Oct or Nov.... but I'm not holding my breath.

The sunroof is the big question mark. They had an initial supply left over from 2021, but what we are told is that the supplier is still closed from covid.

I'm not in a big hurry. I bought a 2021 Laramie to use until the 22 comes in. And honestly, the 10 day trip that I wanted the dually for ended Monday. I'm back home and done traveling for this summer with the 13K lb fifth wheel. I could go trade this truck back in next weekend and drive my 04 Grand Prix the rest of the year and most of the winter while Ram holds off on my truck to skip the salt season.

I may actually do that. Trade this thing back in with 4k miles on it now and just chill. I still have a 2019 F150 that I can tow my skid steer and tractor with.

Now I'm thinking... dump this 21 right back while the Trade value are stupid.... or drive it for 5 or 6 months and hope that the value holds and also so that the $70K Trade value keeps me in that sales tax loophole.....

I was half-tempted to do something similar. After seeing the patriot blue in person I was kicking myself in the butt for not ordering one. Was thinking about ordering another 2022 in blue but without the sunroof. Then either trading my current 2022 in when the new one shows up or selling it as soon as it gets here lol.

I did the same thing. I had a '20 3500 Limited 4x4 CC LB DRW that was only 1 year old (got delivered 08/07/21) and had 8K on it. I already towed my 5th with it on our big trips this year. My wife is a teacher so we're mostly done for the season.

On a whim, I called my dealer for a quote and he offered $82K (Wow) and would charge me $86K on a new '22 duplicate of this truck. I immediately detailed it, drove it down there and ordered the '22 replacement before the trade-in bubble bursts. And I love how my sales tax is going to be $400 instead of $7,350 if I sold it myself. Now I don't need the redesigned A/C airbox swap, the CP4 "paranoia" while towing, the quirky TTPMS and the NAVIKS to get the always-on image, etc. Happy to gain the extra 20hp & 75ftlbs plus the Tow-Mode camera.

I'd love to get it before the snow gets here but even if I do, it will sit in garage until "salt season" is over - so either way is good. I'd almost rather have them produce a couple thousand Limiteds before they make mine anyway.

It crazy that Ram is currently building 2022 Trucks but they are not on the Ram website yet right? Any day now I'd imagine
I actually emailed Ram about this. Their response was the website is intended to reflect what dealerships currently have in inventory. So I guess we will see the website update once the 2022 start hitting dealer lots.

That's dumb and they should know better. Trucks guys want to build and price over and over before they order.

You might have good news...

The last RAM I ordered (2020), I pressed the "Build Sheet" button a hundred times while I waited. Nothing appeared but "No record found corresponding to the VIN provided" until the day it was actually built. The Sticker arrived same day afterward. If it says anything but "No record found corresponding to the VIN provided" I think your truck is built.
Yes his Truck is built. I don't think the window sticker is live....meaning that the computer/server has to upload/download that usually happens the next calendar day....I think you will see it after midnight....possibly east coast time or Saltillo time I'm not sure.

I ordered a new 2022 power wagon to replace my 2019 F350 dually powerstroke. The powerstroke is tuned and deleted over 600hp. It's a badass truck but I missed my 2017 powerwagon! Ram makes the most comfortable trucks
