2022 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your TRUCK order here! ** NEW USERS READ POST #1 **

I got 11% off MSRP from my local dealer when I ordered my 2020 Limited (invoice less full holdback). Couple that with the large down they accepted on a CC.

As much as we appreciate Aaron and Sandi @ Mark Dodge and the other dealers doing the deep discount deals, no way I'd pass on the same deal again locally if I was going to order - and if FCA doesn't make it right with the CP4 I just may do that.
I live in ak, only have 4 dealers to choose from. I’ve bought 5 new vehicles from closest dealer in last ten years, including a 19 Cummins they just bought back from me and flipped the same day. I much rather spend local but these a holes wouldn’t go a penny under msrp. So I’m flying to Louisiana and taking vacation in Florida with family.

These dealers don’t give a rats arse about loyalty. I however will remember the deal I got in Louisiana and will return there for more. Wasn’t until way to late in the game when bud clary or the Idaho boys wanted to start playing ball.

It literally says "Dave, Looks like your truck is scheduled to be built August 9th!"
No build sheet or anything like that.

I also got this email a while back regarding the change in pricing for the 22 models. My original salesman quit due to the lack of inventory coming in at the dealership so I was assigned to the internet sales manager.

Dave,
We were assuming a sale price of $53,277, it is now $53,853.
You have $351 for new tags, $500 dealer processing, and $3,261.18 of taxes. This totals $57,965.18

Dealer processing? Sounds like "doc fees" which are utter BS and just profit for the dealer. It's a typical method to squeeze more money out of a buyer.

I hate when they try to add that crap to the contract. I agreed to pay invoice less holdback plus TTL. Incentives to be determined at time of signing. Anything else, I will cross out make them redo it.

I thought there was some 1000 mile break in the period before you’re supposed to tow with the CTD. Not sure, just thought I remember reading that on here.
It's more like 500 miles for the rear diff. But I towed upwards 12k lbs with my 2020 with less than 250mi on the ODO and never had an issue. Took it easy getting up to speed. Prob never did over 65mph and towed 900 mi. The engine doesn't need a break in period.

I was told by the chat that I should call my dealership because they have more updated info which turned out to be true. Chat could only tell me my parts had been ordered but the dealership told me my status was D1 and estimated to be here the 2nd week of September.

It was an attempt to redirect.

;)

Same with my 2006 Duramax when I bought it new. Picked it up in Long Beach with 150 miles on it, hooked up a 8000lb tongue trailer, took it up to the Sierras. Never an issue :)

Smart move

Does anyone have any 'official' information/pictures of the 2022 HD Rams? The Ram website doesnt list whats available for 2022s.
The automotive 'media' seems to be mainly speculation. And most images are from 2021 or 1500's.

I've already ordered, so I get what I get, but it seems odd with production about to start (hopefully) that there is still no official list of features for the 2022.
Am I wrong?

Every dealer up here in Canada charges a fee. Covers things like PDI, covering wages for registering vehicles, sales paperwork, tax remittance, full
tank of fuel, etc. They dealers can't do all that extra work for free!

I'm with you 100%. That's the way they do things and we can't do anything but wait.
