Is the Zeigler warranty really as good as it seems?

No, max care comes with rental coverage.
Is that subject to the deductible? So, if you are still within the original 3/36 warranty and needed a repair that would be for free since you are not in the extended period of the Max Care warranty, would you still get the rental car coverage and would you have to pay the deductible for it?

If you live in one of those states, For $10 a month you can have a virtual mailbox with an address in another state. After you buy the warranty stop the mailbox. I bought a Toyota 8 year one for a land cruiser in 2019. I live in Florida and saved $1900 on that one. You can not negotiate in FL and if you put an FL address in the extended warranty quote you will not be discounted. The warranty has your VIN and you can do a change of address any time after purchasing.

I was hit by the dreaded cp4 failure. Nearly 7k bill. BUT the technician allegedly found water in the fuel so all warranty denied, both standard and max care, both have specific exclusions for bad fuel.
For $7k, I'd be demanding a sample of the fuel be sent to an independent lab (of my choosing) for testing. When it comes back fine, said dealership/technician would be receiving some legal documents w/ some unflattering accusations and demands for much greater than $7k.

It's not a "Zeigler" warranty, it's FCA Maxcare. Same plan the dealer will try to get 4x the price.

Use the Zeigler price to negotiate with the dealer. I got them to beat Zeigler by $100.

Great help ... can you give me a ball park on how much the warranty costs?

My dealer did the same.

I never buy extended warranties. I have had Geico for years and they are one of the only insurance companies that offers Mechanical Breakdown Insurance. Essentially it is a Bumper to Bumper "warranty" that is part of your insurance policy. You have to add it within the first 9k miles i belive of a new vehicle and it doesn't replace your warranty but for fractions of a dollar of what a warranty costs it works the same way. the differnce is there is no experation or max milage it is for the life of the vehicle or when you sell it, which is all you are worried about anyway. Hands down in my opinion this is the best option, and no other insurance companies that i have found offer anything like it. i have found cheaper insurance but i have been faithful to Geico simply because of this coverage it is just hard to beat.
