2022 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your TRUCK order here! ** NEW USERS READ POST #1 **

What are the normal build times on a 2500 limited or big horn? I know options etc matter, Just looking for average times! these trucks are built in Mexico correct?
I think it’s normally 8-12 weeks quoted, but ends up being 10-12.

My Bighorn was delivered to the dealers lot 50 days after I ordered.
Mark Dodge, in Lake Charles LA is less than 700 miles from the factory in Saltillo.

OfficerDirtySanchez can verify, but I believe it's ALL that posted orders w/ VIN from this 2022 thread, not just Mark Dodge.
Correct. It's all the orders I've been able to find info on or that people have added. I haven't been all that concerned with which dealer they were ordered from. But I have started to make note of it as of a couple of days ago.

And if your real smart you can apply for ram credit card that pays up to 5% in ram rewards that can be used when are trucks come in
So how does this work? I can't imagine a dealer letting you charge your entire truck purchase on any credit card. Maybe they will let you put a thousand or two on the card. I tried researching this and the Ram Mastercard website surprisingly does not detail the benefits. The best I could find was something on a credit card rating site that says the Ram Mastercard lets you "Earn 5% back on FCA US purchases" and "it earns 5% cash back at any FCA US dealership". It's also not clear how you can use the rewards; i.e. if you can only redeem the rewards at a FCA dealership on future purchases.

The FCA drive plus card says this:
EARN A $1,000
BONUS CERTIFICATE
toward your next new FCA US vehicle* when you spend $7,500 in your first year. 3 *Model restrictions apply. See your dealer for program details, current model eligibility and to learn if this offer can be combined with other FCA offers.
So if you plan spending $7500 soon then this is the card. Have to ask your dealer how this program works.

It’s like any other rewards card. You earn 2% (they give you a bonus 2% for a few months too) on gas. 1% on other stuff. 5% at the dealer. You spend points on rewards; clothes, gift cards, cash back (I think), or rewards certs at the dealer.

FWIW, I got my dealer to accept a $30K down on a CC.

Using my UA club card, it helped get to a higher status in 2020 (via spend reqs) and the miles added helped with the upgrade to First on a (work) flight to HI for the wife and I.

Was your dealership Mark dodge

Saw in a FB group I am in, that someone ordered his 22 Laramie 3500 in early May and received a ship date of 8/14. Hope this is true.
Has anyone checked their status with the dealer lately? I checked early last week and was D.

I am seeing estimated ship dates of August 16th on my screens. :-)

I have same ram card yes 5% bonus but 12% makes no sense for me Andrea
I'm not sure I understood what you were saying. I've seen personal auto rates as low as 3.5%-4% (not Chrysler Cap) or even lower with great credit up to 72 or even 84 months. Biz credit is higher, of course. But, I would be happy to calculate out what 5 mos interest is. Do you mean cc rates?
