Heya all. tried looking but cannot seem to find the asnwer, anyone know what the max amps the power wagon 2019 can push out its 115v outlet?

I have some gear that states it needs 10 amps of juice.

darn. Actually more than i figured, but not enough. So basically I am gonna have to purchase a portal generator.

you can just get a power inverter for 1100 watts. smaller and easier than a generator.

im sure truck needs to be running, but what is it wired to? directly to the truck battery?

Yes. That would work. Even better would be an auxiliary battery mounted to the frame rail and charged with an ACR so you can run it whenever.

I bought a 2000w inverter on Amazon for about $130 and some jumper cables. Sometimes when I sell stuff on fb or craigslist I use it to show potential buyers that the item works (if it needs electricity). Mainly I have it for my portable 1 gallon compressor

The draw from 12VDC source to invert to 110VAC and whatever wattage you're running is going to need a nice thick cable, and directly to the battery. I know some inverters plug into cigarette lighters but those are probably running about the same 400w

Just be sure if you hardwire/hardmount the inverter you make sure it doesn't draw when the truck is off even if nothing is plugged in. Mine has a com port so you can power it remotely. Some day I'll mount it in the bed, after I get a cap, and I'll have a 2000w (18amp) power source on tap that I can turn on from one of the auxiliary switches in the cab

2000 watts is not 18 amps at 12 volts. It’s 180 amps. You’ll need about 4/0 cables if you want to go all the way to the bed and at least 200 amp circuit breakers.

My bad, I was calculating output at 110. I know I need huge cables, which is another reason ive been holding out on the install
