If ain’t broke why fix it. Like the cummins, decades on flat tappets, then “let’s add a wheel!” Comes along....

Roller lifter have been around for a long time without issues its the hydraulic lifter part thats stupid. Nothing wrong with adjusting a set of tappets every 160k km
