As an AlphaOBD user, anyone know if I'll have to reconfigure everything after the PCM flash for this recall? Not sure if the PCM flash also re-flashes the BCM also. Thanks!
I finally had this recall done yesterday. For those that completed this recall a while back. Any issues or difference since you have mileage after the recall?
Thanks. I was thinking it should not with the new sensor (what’s for), but have not read up on the aftermath lately.Almost 8K miles since I had the recall done, no noticeable changes.

The sensor just monitors the post-emissions exhaust flow looking for excess soot. Basically it’s just a watchdog to make sure your DPF isn’t compromised and is passing soot out of the tailpipe.Thanks. I think the way it works is it’s a calendar year from the time the work is completed. I don’t believe it tacks on to your existing emissions warranty. But I could be wrong.I know this thread is old but I have a question. I know the recall says that the dpf is covered for 12 months and unlimited miles after this recall is completed. My truck was new last August when they completed this recall, was a leftover 22 that they couldn’t sell because they didn’t have the part yet. It only had 18 miles on it so my warranty just started. So in my case did this recall add any coverage to the manufacturer warranty for the dpf or am I just covered for the normal warranty period / mileage? Thanks
