Worth waiting for 2023

I am in the market for a Power Wagon and found a 2022 model at a local dealership equipped very similar to what I would build. The truck comes with the level 2 equipment group, I would have ordered the level 3, but they added some of options from level 3 such as Uconnect 5 with 12" screen. Now I am wondering with the 2023 orders opening up soon, is it worth waiting for a 2023 for any new features, e.g. the new instrument cluster, and ability to customize my order. Is there anything on the 2023 worth waiting for or should I grab the 2022?

Waiting for 2023 was my initial decision as well, but I revisited it after the 2023 order bank opened up with very limited options. I started to fear it would be a while before all the options were available. I am not in a hurry, so I will give it some more time.

just to confuse you...

I'd buy the 2022 if it could be bought at "decent price"...up to you to determine that definition...but you could order a 2023 and get at least 10% off from one of the volume dealers on here

BUT - the 2023 MAY be several thousands more than the 2022 down the street...so pricing may be negligible

if nothing else, email Granger/Koons/Mark Dodge and get an idea what a 2023 would cost you and go from there...hard to make a decision without knowing that critical piece

other factors could come into play as well as you mentioned some of the updates may be nice...but will those options even be available in your desired build?

There is gonna be some big news coming out in October regarding HD trucks. If you're not in a rush, I think that info coming down the pipe could help...or maybe it will just make your decision even that much harder. Ha!

I was in the same boat of planning to wait and order a 2023, then I seen where the safety group wouldn’t be available right away. That made my decision and I scooped up my 2022 limited mega a few weeks ago and I don’t regret this decision at all. It has everything I wanted.

My suggestion is buy the 2022 if you can find one with the options you want, otherwise maybe wait.
