Some people complain about the Mopar Rockslider/Steps not being that good of a rock slider. And they are not wrong. A good rock slider is made of thick wall material and mounted on something just as rigid, like the frame of the truck not the cab rockers. However, you have to give credit where credit is due. They work as advertised.

However, let me introduce and educate you on the hidden option that Mopar added to the Power Wagon that only the government knows about!

Pretty sure they are just lift points since the arm prevents proper placement of lift arm pads on the front portion of the frame. Putting the truck on a rack with the front arm rearward of the radius arm mount would put a bit too much weight forward IMO

agree but nice they are dual purpose....

LOL, my 3500 Limited has those "rock sliders" on the radius arms.
 
Yea those are hoisting points for all 2500/3500 4wd trucks when put on a 2 post lift… before they installed the long radius arm system on these trucks you could lift on the frame about where the lifting pads are now you cant
