Wolfbox and possible FCW interference

Hello, I’m sorry if this has been covered before, but I searched the forums and internet but didn’t really find any answer. (I only have my phone currently, no computer so that makes it harder). The only real info I found was in regards to wiring.

I’m interested in the Wolfbox 3 camera system, but I’m concerned that the huge FCW “box” will interfere with the front camera when it’s installed. I assume that the view will be obstructed on the right side of the truck considering its placement but I see that there is a zoom and settings that may eliminate that.

Can anyone advise? I’d rather have this system for the 3 cameras than a fitcamx or similar.

Thanks.

Update in case anyone is considering this: I received the Wolfbox G900 tripro and attempted install today.

No matter where I place the mirror and camera the FCW box blocks the right side view of the camera. This is with both the factory rear view mirror installed as well as with the kit that allows the factory mirror to be removed using only the Wolfbox.

In short, it seems the camera is too far away from the windshield to allow full view. The only workaround so far is to move the Wolfbox lower on the windshield to obtain full view. This does not work for me, though, because too much of the windshield is then blocked for my own view.

I have contacted Wolfbox with this issue, but it seems that these won’t work considering the massive FCW black box.

Well i can't help with your issue, but you did do me a big service! I went to Wolfbox to check it out out of curiosity and found the rubber securing straps for my Holoview mirror monitor mount, couldn't find those anywhere! And over 50% off to boot! Thanks!

I really wanted this to work because of the bumper cam and possible addition of a trailer cam later. Oh well. Back to the drawing board.
