Im hoping someone can help me here. Ive been searching the internet for a wiring schematic for a few days and then Ive been searching the forum and just cant find anything.
I recently bought an 06 1500 Megacab 5.7 HD for ridiculously cheap. It has codes for multiple random misfires and open loop codes for all 8 injectors. I noticed the harnesses butchered right at the injectors for cylinders 6 and 8. As i go through and unplug each coil to search for changes, i noticed that unplugging each cylinder makes the truck run worse except when unplugging 6&8. The tachometer is also not working. After using a stethoscope those 2 injectors don't seem to be working. I cant tell if the coils are firing.
Is there a common wire between the 3 items? 6&8 coils, injectors, and tach?
