Wire behind left back tire

I noticed this wire that looks exposed, not sure if it’s safe to drive, 2014 Ram 2500.
It is behind left back tire, Truck is located near beach and exposed to sand, wash under truck after every drive on! Help from desperate woman!!!

Hard to tell but looks like the emergency brake cable. Given your driving conditions, I would replace it as it might eventually seize up. You can drive it but as some point you might need the emergency brake.

Thats the parking brake cable its not an electrical cable. If you dint use your parking brake dont worry about it

If your E-brake still works fine?….cover it with heavy pipe wrap tape and use it until it doesn’t, IMO

Rubber coated braided cable for the parking brake. It will eventually rust through and seize.
