Am I alone in being concerned about installing a winter front on my painted grill? I figure the salt combined with the slight movement of the winter front will cause some abrasion to painted surfaces.
So far I haven’t found a need to install it yet, but it hasn’t been that cold yet. This truck also doesn’t seem to struggle like my deleted trucks did to build and maintain engine temp.
The last truck I had with a color matched grill (08 mega) I had two grilles, and the chrome one had the winter front so I’d swap the whole thing to avoid screwing up my painted grill. That doesn’t seem like a good solution this time around as I hear the grill is kind of a PITA to remove
