I live in Tampa, below the frost line and we don't get snow. I also don't park my truck in a garage.

We get lots of sunshine and Live Oak leaves where I live. I've been using a windshield snow cover and it's kept the leaves and air-plant/moss out of my cabin air intake as well as sun out of the cabin.

Example windshield cover

Yes, it's more work to take on and off but saves time cleaning leaves out of the air intake and worse, getting leaves sucked into the blower.

I didn't like the idea of running the upper strap through the cabin so I use a cord to go around the cab.

Notice big, hulking Live Oak tree shadows on hood.

Nice.

The wind here would shred that. or beat the living crap out of the paint.
