Wind/speed related rattle noise

I’m about 500 miles from home this weekend in Superior Wi with my son for ice cross. My truck began having a rattle/noise like something was buffeting in the wind at speeds north of 65mph. It drove me absolutely crazy for the last 350 miles of the trip. If I slow down it stops if I run the usual 80 ish it’s bad. However it will come and go. It seems to come and go depending on wind, if I’m behind a truck, etc

I have ALOT of miles to cover over the next three weeks and can’t put up with this. Has anyone experienced this? Ideas? We stopped multiple times popping the hood and looking around. It sounds like it’s near the pass a pillar / door / windshield.

Speed related noise makes me think a tire is out of balance.

Maybe try some other older Ram sites as I remember people having similar problems but I can’t remember the main problem areas. I think some were taping off mirror seams and windshield mouldings etc. Even the new 5th gen 1500 cabs were giving some people fits. Hopefully you find some relief.
