Looking to hear from people running factory 18” wheels, with non-factory size tires. Stock suspension
Not sure, if you were still looking for comparisons, but just installed 295/70/18 Kumho Road Venture MT71's on Factory Big Horm Wheels. Stock suspension. Thanks for the nice comment. I feel like my 275/70/18 just look too narrow. I don’t really wanna go much taller but more wanting to go with a wider tire. I would just run a 305/65/18 but there not rated for my 8 inch wide wheel.

That looks awesome. Can I see some more pics. Like front and back. Do they rub at all?Not sure, if you were still looking for comparisons, but just installed 295/70/18 Kumho Road Venture MT71's on Factory Big Horm Wheels. Stock suspension.View attachment 7827

FOR SURE, Staying under the garage ceiling for nowLooks good. Fills up the wheel wells nicely. Now for a lift and bigger tires! Haha!
I was headed toward 285/75 as well, but I could not justify the price. Also, for whatever reason these Kumho tires reported 34.5" height as opposed to 34.3" that is standard for 295/70/18, so I was getting real close to the 34.6" that most 35x12.5 report. I plan to take the tape measure to them this evening. I think the 285/75 would look great!!Looks good, i'm currently on the fence between 285/75R18 & 295/70R18. I'm leaning toward the 285's cause i'll be running them as snow tires so narrower is probably better, and i figure they'll fit the stock wheels better and fill the wheel wells a bit more.

Keep checking Amazon. I was doing the exact same thing a couple weeks ago. Was about to pull the trigger at $258 but hesitated until the next day. When I went to order they were up to around $300. So, I ordered in 295/70R18 instead. Checked on the 285s a few days later for kicks and they were back down around $250, now back near $300. If you're set on that size check daily, otherwise step it down .5" or so to the 295s like I did. Still seems like a great tire and no rubbing issues on stock wheels/suspension with the extra cm.I'm really kicking myself, Amazon had Falken Wildpeak AT3W's 285/75/R18 (Measures 34.8" Tall 11.5" Wide) on prime for $255 a tire, $43 cheaper than any other website or local tire distributor. I was seriously considering pulling the trigger on a set, but hesitated, and now they're up to $298 per tire just like everyone else.

Yea I'm gonna keep a close eye on it, part of the reason I didn't pull the trigger is I was in touch with a guy i went to high school with, he buys welding supplies from me and offered to hook me up with a set of tires at cost... However now that i have the cash and I'm ready to move, he's not responding.

Good catch! Looks like that's about the lowest price they ever go.
