Who has the factory Instrument Auxiliary Switches - issues with LAST STATE getting reset?

Picked up my 2021 2500 in early April and I made sure to order it with the factory Instrument Accessory (AUX) Switches. In another post I showed how I used one of them to control my grill clearance lights. I programmed AUX 1 to be LATCHING / IGNITION / LAST STATE ON. This way the switch is a standard on/off switch, operated only when the ignition is on and it will remember the last state when the truck was turned off.

I hooked them up around a month or so ago and I have noticed 6 or more times that the LAST STATE feature isn't working. I want my grill lights to be on all the time when the truck is running so I have the switch on and *should* never have to touch it (since I have the LAST STATE = ON). Every week or so I will glance down and what the @@@@ - the switch is OFF. So I push it to turn it back on and it will stay that way for another week or so, and then something (ghosts???) is turning it off again and I need to repeat the process.

Has anyone else experienced this? I am obviously still under my factory warranty but a) this is pretty minor and b) I have no idea how I would show this to the dealership since it doesn't happen every time.

Curious if anyone else experienced this where the LAST STATE = ON doesn't seem to be working 100% of the time

If anyone has these and one of them is not being used, could you do a test? Program your unused switch to be LATCHING / IGNITION / LAST STATE ON and then turn it on and leave it on. Keep an eye on it for the next couple weeks and see if it ever gets turned off

I ordered my truck with this option as well, it is a '22 so I don't have the truck and am of no real help other than wondering if it is in need of a simple reflash? It sounds like it is a programming issue, and I don't mean what you've done as it sounds spot on (I've read up on a lot of features in the 2021 manual)

I have the switches and have one programmed for LAST STATE = ON and have had no issues with it resetting. Only had that setting on for a few months but no issues yet.
