Hi all.

Can someone who actually has larger tanks either factory replacement or the spare tire ones (titan makes both) give me some feedback on what you like and don’t like?

I keep my spare in bed so I have that free area and like the idea of 30 extra gallons. Issue is you have to fill up that tank from the bed of truck.
The replacement tank sounds great and gets me from 30 to 50
Gallons and hangs a bit lower.

Any feedback is great as I am ready to pull trigger on one of these options.

The 50 gallon replacement is the way I'd go....you'll have to stop to go to the bathroom before you burn out the tank so....

I assume since you ask about factory option you are getting an 8' bed? The larger factory tank could not be ordered on my 2021 short bed. If yes, then I would go with the 50 gallon from the factory. Otherwise so far, my Titan has been good but only about 5,000 miles so far.

The S&B. Its superior to titan. It has a low sump feed port for a fass or to easily drain the tank. It has nicely place vent and return line for stock and for a fass system.

They have all the options if you want to keep it stock of if you want to easily plumb in a fass or airdog system.

And it appears S&B makes one for a 22 2500 mega cab. Great advice. I’ll research.

I went with the Titan Trekker 50 gallon. I got it for about $1200 from Diesel Power Products. For the cost of a 50 gallon midship tank, I got more capacity with the in bed tank. I have the OEM 32 gallon plus the 50 gallon in bed

The only con is the cost of Diesel right now.
Pros ..don't have to fight gassers for the Diesel pumps can avoid paying Truck Stop prices....

I have the Titan 50 gallon tank with a Fleece lift pump. The tank is deeper than stock so it hangs lower but I have yet to discover where that is a problem.

I have the Titan 50 gallon Midship on my 2020 Mega and love it. almost 400 miles to a tank while towing @ 80MPH.

Anybody know if the s&b would work on a 2022 Reg cab dually, 8ft bed. Not sure what the limiting factor is on the 50 gal from the factory.
