We have upgraded to a 3500 DRW and have been trying to sell our 2022 2500 with no luck in the usual places. (cars.xyz, autotrader, guru)
I understand the interest rates an an issue at the moment of course. Just interested in other venues folks have had experience with when selling.

Thanks for you thoughts/suggestions

Trade was not necessary. Bought Private from a distressed seller.

And, before you post your normal stuff, no I am not a distressed seller now LOL

cars.com and autotrader is worthless....i put an ad on autotrader and only received bot inquiries for a 2016 3500 i sold last spring

I put it on facebook (couple truck / farm groups) and sold it 2 days later...

carvana/carmax/vroom/givemethevin.com/kbb instant cash offer will all give you offers and it takes maybe 2 mins for each website to complete the form after you do it once. if nothing else it'll give you some offers to work towards...you may be surprised at how different the offers will end up being

if you have any premium used car dealers in your area, try them...along with any other larger dealer...most of them have places on their website where you can input your info and get an offer...usually it's in line with the kbb instant cash offer

What is the info on the 2500? Someone might be looking for a clean one on here like myself

I would say try maybe lowering your price on the private market. Trucks are sought after but you will rarely get what a dealer sells for because people are stupid and pay too much for things usually since it’s “easy”.

For example, carvana paid my father 12k for a clean 2013 Cadillac CTS, I couldn’t get 13k for it on Craigslist or OfferUp. Weeks later it sold for 17k on carvana same condition, people are lazy and stupid.

Yep....Carvana paid me about $2K more for my '14 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited than any other offer I got from CarMax, VROOM, etc. and about $5K more than my local dealer offered on a straight sell. That was in the fall of 2021.

Sold my F150 to Carmax prior to buying my 2500. Carmax offered the best and walked out with a check. Some of the other places require you to wait for them to inspect then give you payment. I did not want to have my truck leave my possession and wait for payment. Whole process was super easy
