My SIlverado was built there and was solid.
The way I see it, that job is THE job in that town. The dude/chick who screwed my **** together was paying attention based on the available other jobs if they got canned.
A few years ago, at a Chrysler or RAM plant I remember reading about how some dudes were caught drinking on break and because of the union nobody could do anything about it haha.
I'm all Merica first and all that, but when it comes to who builds better stuff in the auto world, my Australian GTO, Canadian Terrain, and Mexican Silverado were solid. My Kentucky built Corvette C6 was a pile.

My 04.5 was assembled in Saltillo. Never a fit or finish issue in 16 years.
