Wheel / Axle slip up steep driveway

My driveway is short and extremely steep straight into the garage. When I come home from work every day I turn into the driveway at a crawl because of the change in grade from the road to the driveway. It stutters for a second like the wheel is spinning and then grabs and goes up the driveway. Is this the result of limited slip differential? Normal or a problem? 2020 3500, Cummins HO, Aisin, Dually
1100 miles. Thank you

I think you are unloading one side of the rear axle so it starts to loose traction. It takes a little bit for the differential to sense it and transfer torque to the loaded side of the axle. I think what you are experiencing is normal.

Thank you Don. I kind of figured that but value the opinion of other owners. Thank you
