What's behind and under the front of the console

2024 Laramie with center console. I want to make a small hole in the front of the console to run a wire, but I can't get my hand behind it to feel what is there. is there anything right behind the front compartment?? The spot I want is right under and forward of where the wireless charger would be. You cant see it from above. I would really rather not have to remove the entire center console.

I have small mirrors to see behind things like this scenario. Maybe give that a try and let us know what you find.

You will want to pull the center console as there is some connectors for the USB ports and the cig power plug and the AC vent for the vents at the back of the console.

Its only 6 bolts and easy to take out. I ran the wires for my GMRS radio thru the back of that cubby if you have that.

great place to mount the radio. I'll have to remember this in the future.

That is exactly what I want to do!! My radio is a bit bigger and will hang off the little rubber pieces where your phone would go. Found a video on console removal...that would be my next task. Thank you!!
