What scissor jack? Mines a screw style bottle jack and it works great for its intended purpose....For those of you who carry a better jack than the OEM scissor jack, what are you using and how do you like it and how do you store it? Looking for some ideas.

They have been using this style in the hd trucks since mid 90sMy bad. When I got my truck I just popped off the cover panel and thought it had the same setup as my 1500 without looking up in there and seeing what it was. That makes me feel better, I'll just grab a base.

Where do you store the ARB? I have the same twin air in the case. The thing is big and heavy.I always carry an ARB dual air compressor in a case and a bottle jack with an air operator on it. The jack is left over from an old motorcycle lift.
I store mine in my wallet. AAAFor those of you who carry a better jack than the OEM scissor jack, what are you using and how do you like it and how do you store it? Looking for some ideas.
Don’t know anyone named ‘’Jack’’ so I guess I don’t carry any.![]()
In my '19 truck it lives in a tool box in the bed, but it is a long bed. The new truck is a short bed so I don't know yet.Where do you store the ARB? I have the same twin air in the case. The thing is big and heavy.
Makes me wish for a Mega Cab. Right now I just strap in down to the floor in the rear when I head out camping or to the desert. Unfortunately, that means I don't have it for everyday driving. I need to get a replacement hose for my little MV-50 so I can keep one in the truck. In my '19 truck it lives in a tool box in the bed, but it is a long bed.
