What did you do TO your RAM today?

Youre not wrong on the cost my man!

I'll always be a Ram guy. Ive had 4 of them haha. Im sure I'll be back home someday.

Im not brand loyal at all. However I have been a RAM owner longer than anything else. My car ownership from 16 to now has been: Ford > Chevy/Toyota > Hyundai > Honda > Mitsubishi > Eagle > Jeep > Jeep > Ford > Ram > Ram. Been all over, but will say that Ram feels the best/most natural brand for me. Id say Ford is a close second. Honestly buy what makes YOU happy as youre making the payments and have to maintain and ifx it. Just glad you are happy with your choice :D

Today I did sort of a hack job custom install.

Years ago, I removed the rear spats because they were incompatible with the bushwacker flares. I never really looked back.

Recently, I installed a new exhaust and it exits behind the rear tire at an angle close to the body. With the spats missing, the exhaust looked like it was hanging low and I also started thinking the bumper lower trim looked out of place without the spats.

So, I decided to modify the spats to fit with the flares.

I used the dremel to open up the spats to fit somewhat snugly around the flare and then I used black rtv to close the gap. Once dry, it should somewhat closely match the rubber trim on the edge of the flares.

It’s not the nicest looking thing on the planet but it closes up the gap between the exhaust tip and the body.

You would think that I would care enough to wash the truck first but somehow the dirty truck didn’t bother me but the missing trim pieces did

Nice work. Pretty sure only you noticed it missing but it’s one of those things and I can very much appreciate that.

Can we get a “some more seat time” review of that exhaust? How’s it going? Do it again?

I’m very happy with it. There really is no drone under any conditions. I’ve towed with it, taken a road trip to the beach and everything in between. It’s quiet when it should be and a little rowdy when you want it to be. Doesn’t even sound bad when MDS comes on.

I posted a towing uphill sound clip maybe two weeks ago in the 6.4 exhaust thread
