WeBoost Drive Reach Fleet Install - Interior Antenna Mount

I'm installing a WeBoost cell phone signal booster, Drive Reach Fleet model, in a 2023 Ram 2500 Tradesman. The install calls for a small antenna to be mounted in the cab, "... at least 18 inches but no more than 36 inches from where the cellular device will be used." Has anyone done an install on this, or a similar WeBoost? I'm looking for advice on where to place the interior antenna that looks professional and isn't an eyesore. Instructions attached here for reference.

I've not done this, but looking at those instructions, I'd probably hide it in the cubby on top of the dash, or inside the center armrest.

I have the WeBoost setup, and since my phone is either in one of the cup holders or in the basket on the trans hump floor, I mounted the inside antenna under the center dash where the brake controller etc. is at.

Do you like the Weeboost? Does it help? Been thinking of buying one because cell service is weak around here in a lot of places we travel to.

I have partially installed mine(just need to hard wire it to power). I have the bench seats, and have installed the 4th gen floor console, so my scenario is a bit unique. I put the antenna on the floor under the plastic floor console.

Other places I considered was on the dash beside the gloveboxes, inside the armrest, and inside the little pen-cubby below the trailer brake controller.

I settled on the location I did based on: ease of installation (easy to run cable under the plastic floor console under front seats, Ava under floor mats); cable length (the amp is under/behind my rear seats and the cable just reaches); antenna orientation and distance to phone (phone is either in the arm rest cup holder or on Bulletpoint dash mount, and this places the antenna facing up fairly unobstructed to that general area)

Yes it does work pretty good as long as you have some signal. Areas locally where I would lose service I don't anymore. I have mine setup to where I remove the booster from the truck (under pass. seat), to my RV when camping. Some of those camping areas where at least one bar is there, I can get three bars + or so. With that I can use my phone as a hot spot and use my laptop if needed. I used the octagon antenna on the pole on the RV, and a roof mount WeBoost antenna on the truck, since I have a fiberglass shell on the truck. It all depends on the type of terrain your in, and cell tower locations.

That’s great to hear. I was thinking of doing the exact same thing when I get one of moving the booster from the truck, to my fifth wheel camper when camping.
