The dealer I'm purchasing this new truck from has the Warranty Forever. They advertise that it includes injectors, fuel pumps and all the power train stuff that the mfg warranty doesn't cover and it covers them "Forever". They also stated that the work doesn't necessarily have to be done by the dealer the truck was purchased at, but simply by a certified ASE mechanic. There's no up charge that I've seen so far. The sales person maintained that they use this to try to bring in service. Does anyone have any experience with this? Am I better off doing the work my self? And yes, I feel very comfortable doing just about any work on a truck. This will be my third diesel. I've read some of the complaints about the battles with getting things warrantied, but I'm not sure if they're just anecdotal or if it's really a scam.

Sign it up and make sure that it’s all in writing... that’s a good deal but I would assume a nice up charge ...

I would have done that but I tend to purchase a new truck every 2 or 3 years. I am I love with my 2020 right now so I think this one will be a 3-4 year truck unless they release a mega cab new cab then that’s over I’ll go get it !!

Sign that up dude !

I have this plan on my RV ( RV Warranty Forever ), it's the same company that does the ones for the trucks. The base warranty is pretty good. If you can get the truck with it, grab it.

My dealer gave me the same thing, I asked if that was contingent on dealer maintenance and they said no that I could do my own maintenance as long as I kept all the records and receipts, there was no extra charge for it and they offered but didn't push any other warenty.. I wasn't sure if it was ram or the dealerships warrenty..

We have that warranty on my wife’s Jeep. The dealership stopped this warranty after the new year, but said we are covered.

My dealer offers the same. Is there anyone that has actually had to use it?

Try getting anything changed under that warranty im sure its a scam just like the lubrico warranty

MOPAR no longer carries the 'Warranty Forever'... probably some 3rd party that won't pay out when things break.
*I* would look long and hard before considering a policy from a 3rd party.

I didn't think its sounded right either, but there was nothing to sign and it didn't cost anything. The finance guy just told me I had it..
we have another dealer here who has offered it for years but the catch is they have to do all the maintenance..
I doubt I keep the truck long enough to test it..

Something all of you should take into account, the dealer will probably tell you you don't need maintenance, and that's not true. Warranty Forever ( the actual name of the company that provides the warranty " , requires a yearly maintenance be done on the vehicle. Mine is 97 dollars, each persons may be different. Please make sure you do that otherwise the warranty will indeed be void.

I have used it, it worked quite well.
What did they cover? I doubt anything important would be covered they would consider it all wearable parts

They covered the AC compressor , as well as the transmissions lines that broke due to my lift, didn't even care about the lift. On my RV they replaced a microwave, and a water pump. I've had really good expereiences with them.
