Warmup fast idle and surge or lurch in 1 and 2 gear range

Has anyone had any luck with fixing the repeated extended fast idle warmup with occasional surging, lurching, bucking, or gear searching when starting out from cold start or even a recent start? Most notably between gears 1 and 2? I have been to 3 different dealers for this and the latest is that Stellantis and the dealer concur that this is not ideal or desired, they are aware of this in some units and there is no fix currently.

My 2023 RAM with Cummins was doing the same thing. I took it to the dealer and after many tests they called to say the six speed transmission needs replaced. I think the Star Group had the mechanic check the transmission valve function.
