Update: I’ve been told they didn’t make 87 plates only stickers. Apparently they started making 7 year plates in 1983 not sure what the people who bought cars in 87 got but multiple people have told me they didn’t make 87 plates

I did find a cool one on eBay that I can run which is an ‘83 with an ‘87 registration sticker.

Its the correct county and it also is an 80’s sub machine gun so that’s kinda gangster Miami vice 80s Porsche vibes. I ordered it just now

Ended up finding a pretty cool looking old tag from ‘87. My brother graduated from GT so it’s pretty cool. I feel like this is a car a tech geek would’ve driven out of college in the 80s so I dig it, plus it looks super vintage.

Application denied.
The state recycled the number so there is a new tag out there with the GT9828 so one of these days I’ll fill out the form again and run the MAC 380 previously posted. She checked that one for me, should be gtg
