This showed up in my email today. I am indifferent with regards to Banks products, but I do own an iDash and have been very happy with it. I was thinking of getting a Banks Monster Ram to protect against the grid heater bolt, but after doing some research, I decided that other brand solutions were better designed.

Back to the video, I must say that I am impressed with the level of design and engineering that goes into Banks products. If I had a Duramax, I would definitely install their engine and transmission pans!

I just cam from a 2022 Silverado 2500 Duramax. The new Banks oil pan for the Duramax is widely viewed as a solution to a non-existent problem. Banks did an awesome job at marketing their product.

Oh Lord.

This is why you crack open or remove the oil filter and let the oil drain for 30 minutes.

If anyone is that concerned, use an oil extractor FFS.

Just another example of the snake oil Bank's hocks.

All that said, this is not a RAM/Cummins product so off to "The Competition" this thread goes.
