Updating engine hours after gauge cluster replacement (?)

Just upgraded my 3.5" gauge cluster to the 7". I was able to get the odometer miles updated with AlphaOBD, but i'm having trouble updating the engine hours. It just doesn't take the numbers i am entering. Has anyone had any success doing this?

alFa / jscan cant do engine hrs. whatever folks like iem solutions uses some type of bench flash.
