Looks like a 68RFE to me. They don't sell the Hemi in HDs in Australia, so that has to be from a Cummins truck. Also, the ZF has a plastic pan with a built in filter, so that's definitely not it.
I don't know what truck or tranny you have, but the ZF-8HP75 is a proven rock-solid transmission. Sure, there are some bad ones as there are with anything, but in general it has been a great transmission. The problem with mine, and yours probably, is crappy inspection and not cleaning out metal shavings during manufacturing.
Are you working to get a new transmission installed?
I have a 3500 6.7 with 68RFE and no not pushing for new transmission. That is running in glitter in my opinion. My RFE is smooth and I am very happy with it at this stage.
And the ZF is a insane gearbox, work on them everyday and thats servicing them everyday, super rare for failures.
I have a 2019 2500HD with a 6.4ltr Hemi and mine ticks when the engine starts up when its cold, but it goes away after a minute or so. It doesnt do it at idle speed either. I have over 53,000 miles on it. I bought it new in 2020.

That is sort of what fooled me as well. Ticking from day 1, but "well it is just the nature of the beast", then over 100K Exhaust Manifold bolts start backing out like crazy and lifter failure starts at around 175K. So the ticks are not catastrophic to start, but issues are coming limiting the ability to get high mileages over 200K out of these engines which is a shame. Hoping 2025 see changes.
