Uconnect 5.0 install

Radio/uconnect 5.0 went out in my 14' 2500. Fuses good, just hardly flashes light at times, dealer sent me another used one. Question I really had, is I had to take it to a ram dealer to get flashed or not, bc it came out of another vehicle?

I would say you might need the anti theft code from the dealer, but other than that once it's starts talking to your BCM, it will update with all the options you have on the truck that it can control.

This should be in the 4th gens not 4.5gen... the dealer should have provided you with the pin for the radio
