Uconnect 4 sensor/camera issue (surround view)

My new to me 2019 2500 Bighorn 6.4, CCSB is acting wonky, I think... When parking I have to manually activate the surround view parking forward, however, whenever I get close to “impact,” the camera feed to the 8.4 screen will stop and revert to whatever I had on prior. It’s consistent and repeatable/happens every time. The proximity sensors, audible alarm and EVIC outline still work as they should. This is only parking forward (reverse automatically engages and works as expected). That's not normal, right?
