Truck is currently in the shop for;
-Connect box requiring service (shoes antenna code)
-Hard shift into 4th when in tow haul mode and hard shift into 4th with TH off and exhaust brake on.
-finally random typewriter tap from the passenger side during cold start or after the truck has sat for a while. Started after first oil change, original service manager I spoke to said it was normal and the TSB for the additive but the truck was warm and it was valve train noise when revving. Finally took a video and showed the service manager and he agreed it wasn’t normal. Curious if it could be a waste gate vibrating until heat expansion. New here and will try attach the video
Any help would be appreciated if it’s something that has a common cause for the noise.
