Anyone have their sway bar end links look like they are stretching the lower boot after level turning?
Ever since I put carli 3 inch springs and rough country sway bar and steering brace on they looked tweaked over on the lower boot. When stock they were perfect. I have loosened and rotated end links but after driving always return to being turned. Have 2020 Ram 3500 6.4
3 inch carli springs, rough country sway bar and rough country steering brace only mods on front end. Afraid boot will eventually tear. Maybe drop brackets ? But some don’t use those and there is not any aftermarket end links available for my year. I tow regularly so don’t want torsion sway bar. Want to keep factory sway bar
Thanks

You mentioned that you put on a Rough Country sway bar. Did you have that when stock height as well? Or did you replace it at the same time you added the springs? Maybe it has more to do with that new sway bar.

Either way, I'd add the sway bar drop brackets. Carli mentions theirs corrects the geometry after a 3" lift, which sounds like just what you need.

Sorry I meant rough country adjustable track bar not sway bar. Looks more like I will be ordering the drop brackets. Carli and thuren differ somewhat as Thuren states we our good with our stock sway bar end links up to 3 inch level but carli recommends drop brackets. Oh well. May as well. Only $125. Thanks for your help

I couldn't tell from the pics, but that makes more sense.

I did see the dual steering stabilizer as well, but knew that wouldn't have been a factor.

If it were me, I’d leave it, if they go bad some day they are cheap to replace.

I agree. Looks like they are self-aligning right now. I will be doing the same thing. My Suspension will be in soon but my torsion sway bar kit won't be in for a couple of months yet.

Is your front axle centered? (Do you have the track bar adjusted correctly?) should be about 1/2” longer than factory for a 2” level kit.

you can loosen the sway bar and links, align them and then retorque them properly. Or you can leave it alone it’ll be fine either day

I centered the track bar as good as I could get with the 3 inch springs. I am gonna go with everyone’s advice and keep them as is. Change them when they go bad. I appreciate all the advice and responses. Love this forum and the people who contribute to help us out when we need advice.

3” My calculations come to ~3/4” longer than stock but sounds like you’re sorting it out.
yes this forum is very good, good folks here

Rockcrawlerdude you were spot on. I didn’t adjust the track bar over far enough to center the axle and it was tweaking the sway bar end links. I adjusted and drove for a bit and they self straightened out back to center while driving looks like. Appreciate your information and thanks for everyone else helping as well.
