Anyone tried the wicked wheel 2 or spturboost wheels on a 19-21 6.7? I’ve emailed wicked wheel and not received a response yet. I just found spturboost that offers a 10 blade and a 6+6 billet blade wheel

What are you trying to accomplish with this? I honestly don't know anyone that has run those, most looking for performance gains have gone with a drop-in turbo.

Any idea which turbos for these newer trucks? I'm rocking my stock one until it starts acting up like all VGT's then am eyeing a 2nd gen swap.

Not really, opinions on these are all over the map. Everyone that changes them out swears theirs is the one to use so who knows? I'm still running my stock VGT at 100k and more the happy with it. I actually like the VGT for it 's low end response and exhaust brake. I'm in the camp of leave it alone unless it fails.

Why? Your factory compressor wheel is billet.

Dont waste the money.

After doing some research I found this out as well. The new stock turbos are quite an improvement over the 4th gen. If/when the stock VGT acts up, then I'll be messing with it.

Keep the stock turbo. Just the SO makes over 800 torque. What more do you want?

IF you have powertrain trouble and want to use the warranty, I wouldn't touch it. My personal view is that if I'm going to spend $1800-$2500 on a drop in turbo, I might as well go flat out and do a full delete, 2nd gen swap, etc. I would never break the law and do any of what I said because that would be illegal and damage the environment beyond repair.

AOC is that you? Lol

It will all have to be EPA certified someday to buy a aftermarket part. Some states like California have annual emmisions inspections. Many states have nothing, not even a safety inspection.Just wait till congress passes a mandated annual federal inspection done by EPA in every state.

If all your older mods were EPA certified they will probably be grandfathered in and exempt from the latest standards. We already have Euro 5 standard overseas.

It's just a matter of time before Congress figures out they can act on this. Rolling coal on a Prius only hastens the day of reckoning.

They have emissions testing here and most of the deleted trucks still pass the sniffer test aslong as they dont have their programers on a race tune
