TT to 5th wheel

Neither one of those work

That is why I stayed away from them with my 2500. I am shooting for around a 14K(ish) lb trailer weight. Even at a 20% pin weight, the 3,750 useful on my 3500 (see my signature) should allow me to be well within.

It is a short (regular) bed. I am looking at either doing the Reese Gooseneck, or the Anderson Ultimate. No interest with a sliding hitch. Truck is factory 5th/gooseneck prep.
14K lb trailer weight seems a little light, for a 38' 5ver, my 34' 5ver is 15K. Also is it a Toy Hauler?

My bad. I checked again. You have to use the Insert Image in the Signature editor and it only accepts a URL (image link).

So you'll have to put the image on a web host somewhere (I prefer imgur for random stuff) so I don't have to share links to my OneDrive or google drive.

You could also use the link to one of your pics posted here... Let me know if you still need help and we can do a quick webex or teamviewer and get you dialed in.

Yes, it is a Forest River Vengeance, and GVWR is 14,200. I know there are several others out there like that, and personally I wouldn't mind a little smaller, but I really like the separation of the garage. Doesn't even need to have a wall. I am a single guy, so I really don't need or want anything that big, I just want big enough that there is more room then I currently have with the bike in it.

I looked it up, nice toyhauler with 4K lbs cargo available weight.

Backing up rigs in tight places for more years than I care to remember . The most commen mistake I see is that people start their cut too far out in the road . Keep your truck as tight to the side of the road you are backing into the drive way form so you have as much room as possible for your truck to swing and follow the trailer in . just my 2 cents .

Appreciate that. I start about a foot out in the road, that allows me to swing it in without the trailer/truck at too much of an angle between them. Trailer tires clear the edge of the opposite side of the driveway by almost 2' (2'+ drop off), and my front end stays on the road. More of a cut, or less, and it doesn't work. Worked easier with the previous shorter truck, of course.

At this point, I am going to get some culvert pipe, and widen the end of the driveway so I can turn in earlier. Make it a non event with a bigger trailer.
