Drove fine yesterday and backed her into the garage w/o issue. Tried to start her this evening to go pickup the boat, and all it did was click.
Battery showed 11.3V via multimeter (driver side).
Tossed the jump box on it and it started right up. Truck gauge then showed 13.8V and it never wavered.

Likely a dead battery, or two. Would the TX heat do anything to them that a big ole hot diesel engine wouldnt?

The Mopar factory batteries are junk. 2 to 3 years is all your likely to get. Lots of opinions but I bought Walmarts AGM's with a 4 year warranty.

Put the batteries on trickle charge they should come back as long as a battery does not drop below 10.5V it can usually come back without damage.

Yep. Exact same thing happened to me in Far West Texas. Was stranded on a ranch for several hours. Dealership in Del Rio swapped out the dead battery. A year later the other one died. Out of warranty at that point. It's recommended to carry one of those Lithium jump starters.

Its also recommended to swap both batteries at the same time…

I have me M18 tools with me almost always the batteries work well to jump start a truck lol

Instead of leaving it on the boat, I now carry the Li jump box between it and the truck
