Unfortunately my Power Wagon lives outside. Los Angeles isn't the worst place to park outdoors, but it isn't great either. I'd like to keep wild fire ash and pollution off my new paint
I've been using pricey California Car Cover Stormweave covers for the last 3 years on the other vehicles in my fleet (Mustang and Miata) and I've have pretty good luck. After 3 years the mustang cover is pretty crunchy (i think UV damage), but that's to be expected i think.
I'm looking for interim protection of the truck, I'm thinking some time in the next year I'll be getting a cap. If I'm using this cover short-term I'm not gonna drop ~400 on the custom cover. The covers only go on freshly washed vehicles, particularly when I'm driving another toy around.
Any thoughts? Success stories? I'm happy to dish out ~$100 for a temporary cover, but I'd love to hear your thoughts-
