My 2022 ram 2500 laramie has the short bed. The driver side has a gap of about 1.6 inches from the bed to the cab, the passenger side has a gap of about 1 inch, so slightly less. It's not noticeable by just looking at the bed, my detailer noticed while trying to buff it.

Is this adjustable by me or no? If not is this even an issue If it's not noticeable?

It is adjustable and also a known issue. I'd have the dealer make it right.

If you have gooseneck prep package also take a look at how those holes are aligned in the bed.

I do have the prep, and I had a 5th wheel hitch installed today. The holes in the frame matched the holes in the bed. Do you know if the holes in the cab are stamped into the bed before or after it's mounted to the frame? I'm extremely concerned the RV won't line up, I don't have the RV yet so I can't confirm this. It's a bit sketch though.

I went to the dealer today and he basically told me it was 100% cosmetic and ram will probably do nothing about it since the bed isn't actually adjustable. Is it likely the fiver won't hitch up to the 5th wheel hitch? I measured with a laser to confirm the center of the 5th wheel claws were centered with the cab, then I realized if the tab is off center, then so is the hitch. For what it's worth, the bumper also has different gaps between itself and the sides of the bed too because of the off-center. I'd say it's 1/2 inch to maybe a little under.

The bed and cab both have some adjustment in them. Dealer is full of it.

Is there an acceptable difference in the gap on both sides? One of mine is 1 in and the other is 1.25 - close enough to avoid any issues? I would assume so but thought I would check.

From what I can tell unless it interferes with something, topper, puck system, etc , then its pretty much cosmetic and just annoying to the owner who cant unsee it.

Plus there is wiggle room so just adjust it yourself if dealer will not.

Mine was off enough that it bothered me when looking down the truck in the mirrors when driving. I called it out when I picked it up, and they agreed to fix it. The bed holes lined up great with the 5th wheel mounts, so they actually moved the mega cab over to fix the alignment.
